The Textiles, Apparel, Merchandising and Management (TAMM) program prepares students for a variety of careers in the fashion and textile industries. Courses include Visual Merchandising and Styling; Fashion Illustration; Fashion Design; Apparel Product Development; Fashion Promotion and Event Planning; and Fashion Marketing and Merchandising. Students learn how clothing is produced and marketed to the public and how decisions are made in the fashion industry. The program is designed to prepare students, via a broad yet focused education, for the diverse careers available in Textile, Apparel Design, and Fashion Merchandising and Management. Textiles, Apparel Merchandise & Management Comprises three components: Textiles, Apparel Design & Production, Fashion Merchandise and Management.
The TAMM program (Textiles, Apparel, Merchandising and Management) provides numerous opportunities for students to achieve success in selecting their careers. Since textile products are everywhere, positions such as with fabric and fabric design; retail management, buyers, sales representatives, interior design, military clothing, pharmaceuticals, environmental textiles, and education are escalating.
The future for qualified graduates is very bright.
The TAMM program is supported by research and faculty work with local and national organizations to enhance and preserve the environment through recycling and reuse and the reduction of health hazards through textiles apparel management.

- Textile technology
- Apparel Design & Production
- Fashion Merchandise & Management
- Textile education
- Specialized computer training in fashion design, pattern construction, fashion sketching, and body imaging.
- Instruction in visual merchandising, product development, garment & apparel construction, and fashion show production.
