The Animal Science program at the VSU School of Agriculture is a combination of disciplines that together compromise the study of domestic animals.
Traditionally, Animal Science has been associated only with livestock species. However, times have changed, and the program now includes studies related to pets and companion animals.
Pre-Veterinary Medicine introduces students to the field of Veterinary Medicine. It prepares students for the professional exams for entry into Veterinary school. It also helps students to gain experience through hands-on study, and encourages internships and externships.
